The director of the National Statistics Institute (INE), Diego Aboal, informed that a total of one million addresses have been visited out of a total of approximately 1,700,000.
Aboal detailed that around 70 percent of the private homes have already been censused and in some 30 localities of the country the progress of the survey is higher than 99 percent.
The INE director said that the possibility of responding to the census online is still active, using the housing code established in the digital document for this purpose.
Data on housing and other data related to daily life, as well as data on the inhabitants and the population, will provide necessary information for the government and the State in order to plan future policies.
