Ri Ok Hui, who personally experienced the atrocities committed by the US aggressors during the Korean War (1950-1953), shared her memories with those present.
She revealed the cruelty of the US and stressed that the tragedy of those days in villages reduced to ashes and workplaces turned into human slaughterhouses can never be forgotten.
Everyone should mobilize to build up the national defense capability to ensure that history never repeats itself, Ri stressed.
She noted that the price of the blood shed by the Korean people should be paid a thousandfold by annihilating the US imperialists and South Korean puppets who are now trying to unleash nuclear war on Korean territory.
Also present at the event were Pak In Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea, officials from the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea and workers.
