Meetings with local authorities, presidents, leaders of multilateral organizations, businessmen, representatives of solidarity and Cuban residents marked a tour whose objectives the Cuban leader considered fulfilled for his country.
Díaz-Canel closed his tour with a meeting at the Cuban embassy in Paris, where he shared with diplomats the results of each stage of his tour.
Regarding his attendance to the France-organized summit, Díaz-Canel noted that he spoke on behalf of the G-77 + China, of which Cuba holds the pro tempore presidency, in order to call for a new global financial order to overcome current unjust, antidemocratic, obsolete and exclusive system.
He also praised his visit to UNESCO, where he was received by its Director-General Audrey Azoulay.
The Cuban leader also met with UN Secretary-General (UNSG) António Guterres, Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, as well as with Cuba´s friends from different sectors of French society.
