“As for Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, our position remains unchanged. We must do our best to conclude a peace agreement and normalize relations,” Pashinian said.
The Armenian leader reported that Armenia proposed to Azerbaijan to also hold a meeting of the border delimitation commission, which the Azerbaijani side accepted in principle.
Pashinian confirmed that Armenia is ready to unblock transport communications and economic relations, based on the principles of sovereignty, suitability and reciprocity.
Armenia and Azerbaijan have been in a dispute over Nagorno-Karabakh since the territory, with a majority Armenian population, decided to secede in 1988 from what was then the Azerbaijan SSR.
