The blast, unofficially attributed to a gas accident, resulted in at least 37 injuries, four of whom are in critical condition.
Several sources state that two people are missing after the blast, which occurred at around 17:00 hours, local time, and caused the facade of the Paris American Academy at Saint-Jacques Street to collapse.
