According to the closing report of June 21 at midnight, 21 patients were discharged and the number of recovered people rose to 1,106,054.
Since the outbreak of the pandemic in March 2020, 1,114,707 Cubans have been infected with the SARS-Cov-2 coronavirus.
The report stated that no deaths were reported as a result of the disease, so the total death toll remains at 8,530.
One patient is critical and is being treated in intensive care.
A total of 90.8 percent of the Cuban population has been fully vaccinated, while 8,754,599 people have received booster doses of Cuba’s homegrown vaccines.
