The leader toured the country’s largest province accompanied by several ministers, including those from the construction and agriculture sectors, among the most affected by the rains, especially in the municipalities of Florida and Vertientes.
According to the website of Radio Cadena Agramonte, “in the municipality of Santa Cruz del Sur, specifically in the town of Candido Gonzalez, the prime minister inquired about the damages to the housing, as a result of which 337 houses were affected in the province, and about the damages caused to roads, agriculture, the state of dams and water supply to the population, as well as the situation in other sectors.”
While meeting locals, the head of Government assured that “the province will continue to receive support, especially the most affected communities, with the conviction that in spite of difficulties, we will move forward and get out of this situation.”
