According to the closing report of June 20 at midnight, 24 patients were discharged, so the number of recovered people rose to 1,106,033.
Since the outbreak of the pandemic in Cuba in March 2020, 1,114,698 contagions with the SARS,CoV-2 coronavirus have been reported.
The report stated that no deaths have been reported as a result of the disease, so the total death toll remains at 8,530.
One patient was reported critical and is being treated in intensive care unit.
A total of 90.8 percent of the Cuban population has been fully vaccinated, while 8,753,808 people have received booster doses of Cuba’s homegrown vaccines.
