Sibinski also said that the Sixth Army simultaneously deployed in the Figaliovka region employed 2S4 Tyulpan 240 mm self-propelled heavy mortars and 2S12 Sani 120 mm mortars to strike at Ukrainian units at their temporary deployment points in Kupyansk.
In addition, a Russian Msta-S self-propelled howitzer destroyed an enemy Msta-B towed gun in the course of a counter-battery fire mission near the town of Peschanoe, Sibinski noted.
A Giatsint-B towed howitzer eliminated a Ukrainian mortar crew near the town of Berestovoye, the spokesman for Russia’s Western grouping added.
