Modi confirmed that his participation as a special guest in the United Nations celebration of the International Day of Yoga, on June 21st, marks the beginning of his program of activities in the United States, and considered the invitation of President Joe Biden as a reflection of the vigor and the vitality of bilateral ties and an opportunity to enrich the depth and diversity of relations.

He also expressed his confidence in the potential of the talks he will hold with the US president and other senior officials to consolidate bilateral cooperation and in forums such as the G20, the Quadrilateral Security Dialogue (Quad) and the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework for prosperity (IPEF).

He was particularly enthusiastic about meeting with the Indian-American community and several top CEOs to discuss business and investment opportunities as well as building resilient global supply chains.

The prime minister will also speak at a joint session of the US Congress, according to his statement.
