At the morning press conference at the National Palace, President Andrés Manuel Obrador dedicated, as he does every Tuesday, the first part of his usual dialogue to the subject of health, and once again announced that much progress has been made in the new system, which will be better than that of Sweden and other European countries.

Robledo, for his part, reported that the agreement for these new six states had been updated and only 13 states would be missing to have under the new system free care and medicines for Mexicans outside the social security system, thus guaranteeing free health care for 100% of the citizens.

He said that IMSS-Bienestar is the institution that provides free medical care and medicines to the uninsured, at all levels and with quality.
