The Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), the International Fund for Agricultural Development, and the Ministry of Agricultural Development, among others, organized the event under the title “Inequality gaps in Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean.”
One of its aims is to examine the structural disparities among countries and populations to propose strategies to address them.
For two days, participants will address other issues such as poverty and income inequality, welfare and social protection gaps, innovation and sustainability, and investment and productivity.
