Recently, the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment in the province organized a workshop, in which specialists from the GeoCuba Group insisted on the idea of the needs for environmentally friendly production and ecosystems.

In declarations to Prensa Latina, Yonier Leyva, director of the Flexible Packaging Factory, assured that “we are undertaking important solutions to Cuba’s packaging policy”.

Cuba, which has several environmental strategies and where the Task Life is the state’s plan to face climate change, is committed to a line of preservation.

“We all know the country’s deficit to be able to package food and meet food safety requirements, so this objective is part of our investment,” the engineer said.
