The signing of the document, which plans to conduct a wide range joint research and vaccine development work, was held at the international event ¨VacciPharma2023¨ which concludes on Tuesday at Varadero, in the western province of Matanzas.
The agreement was signed by the IFV Director-General Vicente Verez and the Director of Uruguay’s Biotechnological Development Department Alejandro Chabalgoity.
During VacciPharma2023, Cuban and foreign delegates had the chance of showing research results and developments, quality control strategies and technological elements in vaccine production.
Technical and quality results of Cuban vaccines were also presented, as well as the island’s strategy and the scientific results of the multivalent conjugated pediatric immunogen against pneumococcus.
