Rolón, who took office on March 9, questioned his predecessor´s management after alleged corruption and admitting having information against former President Horacio Cartes.

The Ultime Hora newspaper stated that Rolón has been working since then to restore the credibility of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, stopping selective prosecutions, and cleaning up the emblematic cases of defendants who benefited from Quiñónez’s maneuvers.
