At the closure of this Sunday, 192 patients were admitted to hospitals, 96 were suspected cases and 96 were confirmed active ones.

Since the onset of the pandemic in March 2020, the country has accumulated 14,370,88 samples, of which 1,114,669 were positive for SARS-COV-2 coronavirus. Of the total figure of cases, 10 were contacts of confirmed cases and two without source of infection.

By age group, 11 are under 20 years old and one aged between 20 and 39. Up to date, Cuba has accumulated 8,530 deaths for a case fatality rate of 0.77 percent compared to 1.0 percent in the world, and 1.53 percent in the Americas.
