Cuba with 25 new cases of Covid-19

Havana, Jun 17 (Prensa Latina) At the end of this Friday, Cuba registered 25 new cases of Covid-19, after the analysis of 373 samples to detect the presence of SARS-Cov-2, the cause of this disease, the sanitary authorities reported today.

In its daily report on the epidemiological situation related to Covid-19, the Ministry of Public Health specified that to date the country has accumulated 14,369,299 tests carried out, of which 1,114,635 were positive since it was detected, in March, 2020.

Of this total number of confirmed infections, 88 patients remain admitted, of them 87 with stable clinical evolution and one in critical condition in the Intensive Care Units of the country. No deaths were reported.

In relation to the strategy against Covid-19, as of June 15, the country had accumulated 45,129,115 doses administered with the Cuban Soberana 02, Soberana Plus, and Abdala vaccines. Ten million 21 thousand 486 people have a complete immunization schedule, which represents 90.8 percent of the population.
