Konashenkov noted during a press briefing on Friday that the heaviest fighting took place on the Vremevsky outpost, on the borders of Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia, especially near the settlements of Rivnopol and Harvest.

The airstrikes inflicted a defeat on the units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Nevsky and Chervona Dibrova in Lugansk, as well as in Krasny Liman direction near Serebryansky forestry, the military spokesman noted.

Russia has been conducting a special military operation in eastern Ukraine since February 24, 2022.

President Vladimir Putin says it aims to demilitarize and denazify the neighboring country and prevent Kiev’s attacks on civilians in the Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics.
