The day before, the Minister of the Presidency, María Nela Prada, described as a “veto to internal democracy” the document issued by the highest directive instance of the MAS-IPSP that prohibits elected authorities and public officials to participate in national, departmental, regional, provincial, municipal and sectorial congresses.
While thanking for the support received from different sectors, Arce expressed in his Twitter account that “it was the struggle of our social organizations that recovered democracy. Today, it is our duty to defend it from destabilizing and coup attempts”.
Along with this text, the president published a resolution of the Murillo Provincial Federation of Intercultural Zongo Tropic Intercultural Communities of La Paz, in which they express their full support and backing.
“We recognize his effort, dedication and commitment to work for the Bolivian people, betting on the development and industrialization with economic reactivation of our Plurinational State of Bolivia”, states the document.
