The participants discussed opportunities for cooperation between the two economic blocks in the new reality, and prospects for the implementation of infrastructure projects that will contribute to the development of their trade and economic ties, Brics TV channel reported.

The event was moderated by Ivan Polyakov, Chairman of the Russia-Asean Business Council, who emphasized that large-scale cooperation between the two associations is among the priorities of the international activities of the Eurasian Economic Union.

For his part, Asean Deputy Secretary General Satwinder Singh said that the current dialogue is a key platform for restarting and promoting cooperation between the two integration associations in different areas.

Meanwhile, Minister of Integration and Macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission Sergei Glazyev noted that Asean is the most important partner in terms of the network of contractual and legal relations.
