Representing the Government, the minister of the sector Mario Oliveira assured that the doors are open for ANGOTIC-2024, at the closure this Wednesday of the event’s 3rd edition, in which over a hundred national and foreign exhibitors participated.
Consulted by journalists, the Secretary of State for Economic Coordination Jose de Lima Massano also stressed the need to make better use of the ideas presented at ANGOTIC-2023, so that they have more room in the domestic economy and at the service of society.
Over 8,000 people have visited the technological exhibition during the three days of the international forum, held at the Talatona Convention Center, in Luanda province, confirmed spokesperson Matias Borges.
Last Monday at the opening of the forum, President João Lourenço considered that Angola has been registering a frank growth in telecommunication areas, including the boom in mobile telephony, Internet services, and the launching into orbit of the ANGOSAT-2 communication satellites.
From a strong partnership with the private sector, Angola shows an important evolution in the use of digital services, from industry to commerce, banking, insurance, energy and public health, the minister concluded.
