The head of Government explained to those gathered at the House of the Scientist in this capital, among them Cuban students in Russia, the realities of the national economic situation and the real impact of the US blockade on Cuba.
Marrero referred that this situation aggravated by 243 measures implemented against Cuba during the Donald Trump administration and the country’s unjust inclusion in the list of nations sponsoring terrorism, should be added to the media war of the enemy to upset the population.
He also referred to issues such as foreign investment, food production, micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, and developing areas of the national economy such as biotechnology and tourism.
Marrero arrived in Moscow from Sochi city, where he headed the Cuban delegation to several forums of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and took part in the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council and the 3rd Eurasian Congress.
Marrero’s official visit to Russia will last until June 14.
