During a ceremony held last night on the occasion of Russia’s national day, the diplomat also thanked Nicaragua for its solidarity and brotherhood towards the Eurasian nation.

He assured that a just world in the future is not compatible with the order based on the “rule imposed by the West”, which -he added- is equivalent to neo-colonialism.

In this sense, he referred to the birth of a multipolar world where several countries are now going through a process of transition to a fairer and more equitable order, and recalled that Russia is at the forefront of this global process.

Mr. Khokholikov referred to the struggle for the right of independent and sovereign states to choose their own path, based on national interests for the benefit of their peoples.
