The EU is abusing its power and wants to resettle immigrants in Hungary, which is unacceptable, the head of Government wrote on Facebook.

The outline of the new plan provides for introducing dues to admit illegal immigrants and refusing to accept them after contributing to the general fund for their settlement in other countries.

On Thursday, some participants at a ministerial meeting in Brussels described it as historic, but Hungary and Poland opposed it and proposed to continue discussions at the next EU summit.

Brussels voted for the compulsory resettlement of immigrants. Anyone who opposes it will have to pay but Hungary does not want this, a message posted on the same page by the Hungarian Government stated.
