“On the most sensitive issues we agreed, everything is going according to plan, on July 7 and 8, the preparation of the relevant facilities will be completed and then we will start the immediate deployment of strategic weapons,” Putin said.
The two leaders discussed the current situation and bilateral relations, the Russian head of State said, “we are very confident that everything will go well”.
According to Putin, the construction of a tactical nuclear weapons storage facility on Belarussian territory is scheduled to be completed on July 1.
The Russian Defense Ministry has already delivered to the neighboring country the Iskander missile system, which is a nuclear weapon carrier and is used for retrofitting aircraft.
