Cuba registers 30 new cases of Covid-19

Havana, Jun 9 (Prensa Latina) Cuba today reported 30 new cases of Covid-10 and 96 confirmed active ones, reported the Ministry of Public Health in the daily update of the country's epidemiological situation.

On this Friday, 524 samples were analyzed to determine the presence of SARS-CoV-2, the cause of this disease, which already total 14 million 366 thousand 267 tests carried out and one million 114 thousand 459 positive.

The new 30 cases (13 men and 17 women) were located in the provinces of Artemisa, Havana, Matanzas, Cienfuegos, Villa Clara, Sancti Spíritus, Ciego de Ávila, Holguín and Guantánamo.

The health authorities did not report deaths or serious illnesses in the intensive care services, while the 96 patients have a stable clinical evolution.

At the close of June 7, the country had accumulated 44,969,467 doses administered with the Cuban Soberana 02, Soberana Plus and Abdala vaccines.
