Chaired by prima ballerina Viengsay Valdes, director of the National Ballet of Cuba (BNC), the Festival is sponsored by Cuba´s Culture Ministry (MINCULT), the Spanish embassy in Havana as well as the Federation of Spanish Societies.
On June 13, the Jose Nicolas de Escalera Gallery of the San Geronimo University College in Havana will host the opening of the “30 years of La Huella de España Festival” exhibition and the screening of “Antonio Gades, a legacy for the 21st century” documentary, among other activities.
