The country’s authorities demanded London stop political manipulation and provide a fair and unhindered environment so that Chinese companies develop normal operations on its soil.
They also criticized the British side for deliberately misinterpreting China’s laws.
The British Government stated on Tuesday that it would announce a deadline for removing Chinese-made surveillance cameras due to security risks.
According to Financial Times, the measure will include those made by state-owned Dahua and Hikvision companies.
Before announcing the measure, the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs described it as an abuse and a misuse of the concept of national security.
