The military agency, Sputnik news agency reported that an air group consisting of strategic bombers of the two countries carried out the air patrol over the Japanese and East China Seas and over the western part of the Pacific Ocean.
The joint flight lasted about eight hours, the bombers were accompanied by Russian Su-30SM and Su-35S fighters, as well as Chinese J-11B fighter jets, the text adds. According to the Russian military agency, the joint patrol was conducted in strict compliance with international norms without violating any country’s airspace.
