The Acosta Danza company, directed by Carlos Acosta, presented this performance in UK in the first months of 2022, where Crespo performed as a leading figure.

To qualify, shows and performances included January 1-December 31, 2022, period was taken into consderation.

Back in 2021, Acosta Danza was nominated and won as the best independent company in the 21st edition of the National Dance Awards, an event organized by the Dance Section of the Critics’ Circle in UK.

This award recognizes the Cuban artists´ work for their nonstop involvement in the British stages. So, this consolidates the Acosta Danza company as one of the leading ambassadors of Cuban culture worldwide.
