Meeting of Ministers of Culture of Mercosur to be held in Argentina

Buenos Aires, Jun 2 (Prensa Latina) The 54th Meeting of Ministers of Culture of the Southern Common Market (Mercosur) will take place in Buenos Aires, and will be led by Tristán Bauer, Minister of Culture of the country. Argentina will hand over the pro tempore presidency of the institution to Brazil.

After the meeting, the members of the “Mercosur Cultural” will visit the ESMA Memorial Site Museum (Navy Mechanics School) and discuss its recognition as a regional heritage.

The activities of the day are part of the program of the seventh edition of the Cultural Industries Market (MICA), which will last until Sunday.

MICA has been held since 2011 aimed at boosting production, providing visibility, promoting marketing, generating quality jobs and allowing entrepreneurs to show and develop their proposals.

In addition, it is committed to integration, the development of local production, the exchange of knowledge and the articulation of relations.
