According to the Foreign Ministry document, “the Russian side reserves the right to take actions in response to the attacks planned and carried out by the neo-Nazi regime in Kiev that turned the use of terror actions into a macabre practice”.
Its representatives have long and openly called for revenge strikes against Moscow. These attacks do not make any military sense. Apparently, they were directed exclusively against the civilian population in order to sow panic, the foreign ministry’s statement said.
It also recalls that Western support for Kiev pushes the Ukrainian leadership to commit increasingly reckless criminal acts, including terrorist actions, violations of international humanitarian law and war crimes, the document reads.
“Assurances by North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) officials that the Kiev regime will not launch attacks inside Russian territory turn out to be absolutely hypocritical,” Moscow stressed.
