The government initiative will benefit 2,970 micro- and small-sized businesses, which will be implemented in 33 domestic territories, and will be supported by the Chambers of Commerce from Bogota, Armenia, Barranquilla, Bucaramanga, Cali, Ibague and Pereira.
The program will impact businesses including restaurants, hairdressers, travel agencies, hostels, bakeries, neighborhood stores, among others.
“By enabling this program we hope to support the productive units that are part of the country’s Popular Economy, so that they can advance in their administrative, financial, commercial, productive, innovation and product development processes,” pointed the Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism German Umaña during the presentation of FortaleSER.
Plus, the government of Change seeks to contribute to the achievement of economic justice in the country, he noted.
