According to press reports, ISRO Chairman Somnath expressed satisfaction with Monday’s result and informed that the Chandrayan satellite would be launched into space on July 3.
He stated that more such missions and other projects with the United States National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) are expected.
The experts gathered at the center also expressed their happiness and satisfaction with the launch of the NVS-01 satellite, which is the first of the second-generation satellites envisaged for the Navigation with Indian Constellation series to improve the monitoring and navigation from space, they reiterated.
