The participants of the event discussed the confrontation with the ambitions of the West and the United States, the centrality of the Palestinian cause and the urgency of moving towards a multipolar order.
The positions of solidarity towards Palestine on the part of intellectuals, popular communicators, academics and journalists focused on strengthening unity, rejecting normalization of relations with Israel, and demanding greater condemnation from the international community.
Lisandro Brusco, militant of the Movimiento Amplio de Izquierda-Rosario of Argentina, stressed the need to strengthen the resistance to defend the sovereignty of the Palestinians and confront the US-Zionist project in the region and the world. He also denounced Tel Aviv’s criminal practices against the Palestinians and the imposition of a logic of extermination by blood and fire, and called on the peoples and governments to support the resistance and build new international institutions capable of ending the Zionist occupation.
For Chilean analyst Nicolás Hadwa, of Palestinian descent, the attacks by the Israeli colonialism constitute one of the greatest atrocities against the humanity, since the regime not only exploits the Palestinian territory and its inhabitants, it murders children and women without mercy.
He also said that this cause reflects the desire for freedom of all the peoples of the world and of any citizen who defends humanity, decency and solidarity, and called the aggressions and usurpation of Israel, backed by US imperialism, unacceptable.
The Argentine academic and journalist Sebastián Salgado emphasized the need to be alert and combat Israeli occupation jointly, since the Zionist project extends its ramifications to various nations.
Other evaluations recognized the sacrifice and the will of the Palestinian fighters and the so-called Axis of the Resistance to counteract the ambitions of Tel Aviv and Washington, in addition to the refusal of the peoples to normalize relations with Israel.
Nearly 35,000 Arab citizens around the world were surveyed by the Arab Index in 2023 and ranked the United States and Israel as the main enemies of the peoples and nations in the region.
