According to the official report from MINSAP, at the end of Thursday, 45 new cases were reported after 643 samples were tested in the country’s network of molecular biology laboratories, where 14,360,036 tests have been made since the SARS-Cov-2 coronavirus was detected in Cuba in March 2020.
All 45 contagions detected on Thursday are from Artemisa, Havana, Matanzas, Villa Clara, Ciego de Avila, Las Tunas, Holguin and Santiago de Cuba provinces. No patient is in serious or critical condition nationwide.
As part of its mass vaccination strategy, Cuba had administered 44,584,293 doses of its homegrown Soberana 02, Soberana Plus and Abdala vaccines by by May 24.
