Mujica prepared his own proposal on the subject, which he shared with the presidents of Brazil and Argentina, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and Alberto Fernández, respectively.
The forum was convened by the Líber Seregni Foundation, with the support of Friedrich Ebert, the Instituto Novos Paradigmas de Porto Alegre, and the Chile 21 Foundation.
The activities on Saturday 27th will begin with a debate on the topic of “Integration from the business point of view and scientific-technical cooperation”.
Other issues for discussion will be “The world of work in South American integration” and “Political institutions of the new South American integration.
International analysts, researchers, businessmen and political scientists will be among the speakers at the event, which will end on Saturday with a conversation offered by the adviser of the president of Brazil, Celso Amorín.
