The director of International Relations of the regional entity Marcelo Sato highlighted the benefits of the product, which shows significant results. The leader considered as promising the actions carried out by the country.
During a meeting with the technical commission of the Brazilian National Congress to debate on the profits of hemp industrialization, the official alluded to the new exchange opportunities that are being projected between Brazil and Paraguay.
In this regard, the Deputy Minister of Industry belonging to the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MIC), Francisco Ruiz, pointed out the working lines carried out, such as the creation of products derived from industrial hemp, the construction of a legal institutional framework and the generation of incentives that help competitiveness.
We have been ahead of our time because we have a very favorable architecture to boost the sector. We have achieved very solid legal regulations, said Ruiz, as quoted by the Agencia de Informacion Paraguaya (Paraguayan Information Agency).
There are currently over 10 companies operating in the country related to industrial hemp and its use for therapeutic purposes, for the esthetic sector as well as ecological design.
