According to the event’s https://socutras.sld.cu site, the Barcelo Arenas Blancas and Mar del Sur hotels will host the event, which is sponsored by the International Federation of Social Workers, the Latin American Association of Social Work Teaching and Research, among other entities in order to make Social Work more visible.
The encounter’s main issue is work and social development to bolster community sustainability, inclusion and equality in Covid-19 times, the Congress turns out an opportunity for analyzing and exchanging knowledge among actors committed to action, change and social development, welfare and dignity of human beings.
Its official site also refers that socializing experiences and making proposals linked to different fields of action from the analysis of aspects related to professional, teaching and research practice becomes a key goal of the event.
Keynote lectures, panels and presentations will be the focus of the encounter, which will gathered up representatives from several countries, mainly from Latin America and the Caribbean, to highlight the role of the social worker in nowadays world.
