Cuban Chamber of Commerce President Antonio Carricarte and Madrid Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Services President Ángel Asensio signed the agreement.
Carricarte and Asensio are committed in establishing a permanent and systematic exchange of information and assistance in order to implement contents and programs aimed at trade, tourism, and services.
They also intend to collaborate in the organization of joint promotional activities.
Due to this alliance, Madrid´s Chamber of Commerce holds the Business Forum “Cuba: until May 22, Perspectives and Challenges of the Market” at the Santoña Palace this Monday.
Madrid Chamber of Commerce First Vice-President, Eva Serrano, and Cuban Ambassador to Spain, Marcelino Medina, are among those attending the business forum.
Carricarte will present the business opportunities and challenges of the Cuban market at that event.
One of Madrid’s objectives this year is to consolidate its relations with Latin America and for this purpose, it will send business missions to Mexico, Guatemala, Colombia, Brazil, Bolivia, Ecuador, Chile, and Peru.
