Cuba’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs repeated on Twitter its interest in continuing to develop ties in all sectors of common interest with that European nation.
During the last meeting of Political Consultations between their foreign ministries, both countries expressed their willingness to advance in economic-commercial aspects.
Both Cuba and the Netherlands reviewed common issues on the multilateral agenda, including Political Dialogue and the Cooperation Agreement between Cuba and the European Union and its member States, and cooperation within the framework of the United Nations and its institutions.
The Cuban side thanked the Netherlands for its traditional support for the resolution against the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States against the Caribbean island for more than six decades.
