According to www.giron.cu, the event will show the priority given by the Cuban State to everything related to children, as it will deal with issues such as violence, the construction of protective environments and the importance of play.
Keyla Estevez, director of the Center for Youth Studies, said that the event will consist of three associated forums on entrepreneurs of goods and services for children and adolescents, children’s literature and the production of audiovisuals designed for children.
The Congress will focus on generating dialogue about the realities of children and adolescents in Cuba and in the world; that is why, a varied representation of social stockholders whose role is centered on the youngest generations are summoned, she said.
Estevez explained that students, social workers, entrepreneurs and neighbors will participate in the Congress with projects created for the children.
She added that the web publication will include guests with extensive experience in working with children and adolescents at an international level, including researchers Monica Borile, Maria Isabel Dominguez, Silvia Navarro, Roxanne Castellanos, Francisca Cruz and Ivan Barreto.
