According to the daily report from the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP), 34 patients were discharged, and the number of recovered people rose to 1,105,094.
Since the outbreak of the pandemic in March 2020, 1,113,795 citizens have been infected with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
The MINSAP report stated that no one died due to the disease, so the death toll remains at 8,530.
The source added that one patient is seriously ill and is being treated in an intensive care unit.
According to MINSAP, 90.7 percent of the Cuban population has been fully vaccinated, while 8,728,979 people have been administered booster doses of Cuba’s homegrown vaccines.
