During an interview with the Saharawi Press Agency (SPS) the Secretary General of the Polisario Front made such statements and remarked that the real threat to peace, security and stability in the whole region derives from Rabat’s policy which is aggresive and expansionist.

The Polisario Front leader reminded the United Nations its responsibility in the conflict in Western Sahara and considered that the Security Council must enforce its resolutions.

He also demanded that the United Nations Mission for the Referendum in Western Sahara (Minurso) be allowed to carry out its mission in the territory.

The SPS added that the President reiterated his will for the decolonization of the last colony in Africa, and remarked that he will not accept any solution which does not include the guarantee to the Saharawi people of the exercise of their inalienable and non-negotiable right, which does not expire with time, to self-determination and independence.
