During a meeting on the ways to boost and strengthen collaboration in the sector, Lefebre pointed out that Cuba is willing to help Ethiopia in agricultural biotechnology, animal health, production technology, mechanization, irrigation and coffee production, according to the state-owned Fana Broadcasting Corporate.
The diplomat expressed the common interest in promoting bilateral cooperation and sharing modest experiences in favor of agriculture.
“It was an honor to be received by Dr. Girma Amente, Ethiopian Minister of Agriculture,” he added.
“We assessed the multiple possibilities of cooperation that exist between #Cuba and #Ethiopia,” Lefebre tweeted.
Amente, in turn, noted that Ethiopia and Cuba have a long historic relation and are doing a lot in economic growth.
The source assured the signing of a memorandum of understanding in the future to establish the legal framework for cooperation.
