During the 19th ordinary session, parliamentarians have been debating on the project to strengthen diplomatic relations with several nations, defend its sovereignty and to speed up government activities, reported Fana Broadcasting Corporate state TV station.
The Council of Ministers revealed in January, after passing the bills, that the agreement on extradition of individuals wanted for crimes creates a legal framework for bilateral cooperation and has paramount significance in guaranteeing the rule of law.
The source stressed that the ‘agreement on mutual judicial cooperation in criminal issues has a bigger framework and importance for exchanging information and evidence, as well as preventing organized and cross-border crime within the signatory countries.’
