“We see some progress in the area of responsibility of the First Army Corps, and we appreciate that our positions are improving in the Avdeyevka area,” Pushilin told the Rossiya 24 television channel on Monday.

The authority added that Ukrainian forces recently undertook actions in the Marinka region to expel Russian units from the last positions taken, but have failed to do so.

Pushilin explained that the positional fighting continues in the Ugledar area, and there are improvements in Artyomovsk, where elements of Wagner’s assault troops continue advancing.

The functionary also commented that the Ukrainian Armed Forces opened fire with heavy artillery against settlements in Donetsk six times. In sum, the enemy fired 36 shells of various calibers.
