“Promoting cooperation in these areas, in keeping with the existing political and diplomatic ties between the two countries, is a key task set forth by their leaders and the objective of the two countries,” Duong Anh Duc, Vice President of the municipal People’s Committee, stressed at the meeting.
Anh Duc considered holding the event as a great opportunity for Vietnamese companies to find investment opportunities in Cuba, which is “a potential and reliable partner.”
In turn, the Cuban Vice Minister urged expanding collaboration, especially in areas where Vietnam has proven strength, such as rice and coffee cultivation, but also, establishing coordination to diversify the supply of machinery for agricultural production.
