According to the closing report on May 14 at midnight, 26 patients were discharged, so the number of recovered people reached 1,104,972.

Since the outbreak of the pandemic in March 2020, 1,113,653 Cubans have been infected with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.

The report stated that no one died as a result of the disease, so the death toll remains at 8,530, while two patients in critical condition at intensive care unites, and the number of people with Covid-19 in Cuba is 92.

The MINSAP added that 90.7 percent of the Cuban population is fully vaccinated, while 8,726,970 people have received booster doses of Cuba’s homegrown vaccines.
