Tour to expand global work of Cuba’s Septeto Santiaguero

Santiago de Cuba, May 12 (Prensa Latina) The tour Septeto Santiaguero will undertake in Europe coming summer will expand an international work that includes about 40 countries, two Latin Grammys, and a nomination in the Anglo-Saxon section.

The Septeto Santiaguero’s communications team member Dailenis Blanco said JLP Musica Management (the agency in charge of the tour) confirmed the group would perform in France, Spain, Sweden, Germany, Poland, and Cyprus.

Other venues to be confirmed are Portugal, Holland, and Belgium.

During the 2022 summer season, the group gave about 20 concerts in dozen European cities and Japan for the first time.

With four straight nominations to the Latin Grammy Awards and the award for the CD “No Quiero Llanto-Tributo a los Compadres,” recorded with Dominican singer José Alberto “El Canario” in 2015, the musical band has kept an unwavering attachment to the authentic Cuban sonority.
